NC Fishing trip hosted by OT4V
A veterans' organization is looking for veterans to go on a deep-sea fishing trip this fall.
On Target 4 Vets is a non-profit organization that provides funding to support disabled veterans through sports and recreational activities.
Every year, the organization holds fishing trips for veterans. The next one is Oct. 9.
On Target 4 Vets has raised enough money to take 35 veterans and their guests out on the water. One of the organization's board members said the group is excited to do this for the veterans so they can thank them for their service.
"We just want the veterans to come and have a good time and mingle and talk to the other veterans because we all have something in common," On Target 4 Vets board member and Outreach Coordinator Joe Couch said.
